Florimond Wassenaar has been an attorney since 2000. From the outset, Florimond has been working on immigration law and nationality law. Within the working field of immigration law, the emphasis of his practice is on nationality, national security, public order, detention of foreign nationals and family reunification. He offers legal aid and charges a professional fee or provides his services through the system of financed legal aid.

Florimond is also teaching at the training institute for Social Law OSR. He lectures on current events in laws on detention of foreign nationals and general regular immigration laws.
